- I'm all for eliminating clutter, but is a wireless iPod really necessary? Think of the ridiculous transfer rates and pathetic battery life.

- I think those are a little old, but the point is that they pay someone to design that. It looks like it was "designed" by a high-school freshman who downloaded Photoshop and every filter he could find. This is the system that 95% of the world uses. And it looks like that.

- I think it's shady as hell of the directory to re-use an idea like that, and if Apple knew about it, shady of them for goin' with it. I like to think that the Postal Service has a little more class than to sue, and I'm not even sure they have any legal grounds to do it on, but we'll see.

- Yesss. The filesystem is one of the most fundamental parts of an interface, so it should not be the hardest part to understand!

- Hell yes. I don't know the exact terms of the truce (they might be crazy, after all) but if, in a war, the enemy says "Hey, this is gettin' ridiculous. Nobody's really benefitting from us killin' each other. Let's work out a deal", then of course I'd consider it.
